Jerry became a Financial Advisor with the Retirement Plan Advisors in March, 2008, joining the group after a 25 year career at Wachovia Securities and predecessor firms. While at Wachovia, Jerry was a member of the firm’s Retirement Plan Advisory Council, responsible for training other advisers about best practices in retirement plan consulting and implementation while running his own consulting practice within the firm serving clients both large and small.
As a retirement plan consultant to his institutional clients, Jerry oversees all aspects of the RBC relationship from fiduciary governance to investment monitoring and employee education. In working as a trusted partner with his clients, Jerry’s goal is to become an extension of their organization to achieve the best retirement plan possible.
Graduating from the University of Washington School of Business with a concentration in accounting, Jerry began his business career with Arthur Andersen & Company as a staff accountant. Sensing greater career opportunities with his financial background, he joined EF Hutton in 1983 in the then fledgling investment consulting industry. Jerry is an active volunteer in the Seattle area as well as in Spokane where is a past member of the Board of Directors for Gonzaga Prep School and the School’s Foundation Board. Currently Jerry is a volunteer advisor to the Gonzaga Prep’s Foundation.
Jerry and his wife Carolyn are proud empty nester parents of three. When not working, Jerry enjoys as many outdoor activities the Northwest’s seasons will allow.
